Home > Liverpool Cathedral
Setting foot inside Liverpool Cathedral you truly enter a great space. Sir John Betjeman called it ‘one of the great buildings of the world.’ Not only this, but the Cathedral is a truly world-class visitor attraction, has a full programme of events and hosts many conferences, large-scale gala dinners and functions.
The Tower is one of the city’s ‘must see’ attractions with panoramic views across the whole region, and following the great success in 2010 of the late-night’ openings on Thursdays, the facility (tower only) will be open again in 2011, each Thursday, until 8pm (last ticket 7.30pm) from 25th March through to 28th October for spectacular night-time views. Check the Cathedral website for details. ‘The Great Space’ film and audio tour is an interactive tour that takes visitors on a journey of discovery visiting a series of ‘stations’ and is now available in 7 languages, as well as a BSL tour on portable DVD for deaf visitors. Attractions tickets (includes Tower, Film and Great Space Audio Tour - usable for any or all attractions and may be used over a 48 hour (2 consecutive working days) period) Standard - £5.00, Concessions £3.50, Family £12 (up to 2 adults & 3 children).
